Holiday Charades, Winter Mini Games, Wine Tastings, and Holiday Baking Classes are just some of the virtual corporate team-building experiences being made available to companies to help bring their remote and hybrid workers together for the holiday season.
Confetti, (https://www.withconfetti.com/collection/holiday) which enables companies to book virtual team building experiences online – and already counts companies including HubSpot, Netflix, Shopify and Vimeo among its users – launched over 40 new experiences as part of its 2022 Holiday Collection.
It includes virtual social events like a Holiday Pub Party, which comes complete with a bartender host, live tunes, and a selection of seasonal holiday games, and practical events like a virtual festive wreath making class. There’s even a festive sweater making party and quiz events like Holiday Codeword, a communication-based team building game with teams challenged to guess the right holiday codeword.
All the experiences are delivered by small business vendors both across the United States and internationally.
“The holiday season really is the most wonderful time of the year,” Lee Rubin, CEO and Founder of Confetti, says. “It’s valuable as a time to bring people together, to enjoy each other’s company and to recognise that you are part of something bigger. But with approximately half of the US full-time workforce – something like 60 million workers – saying that their current job can be done remotely working from home, companies desperately need new ways to create that bond between teams and coworkers.
Hence, virtual events are a unique and special way for employers to show how much they value their teams, regardless of where they are geographically located. And our holiday collection allows them to do that in an efficient, cost effective and fun way.”
