From the back cover:

I Kissed the Devil in the Pouring Rain is Molly Dickin’s debut poetry book. The poems explore topics such as loss of innocence, experimentation, religion, trauma, mental health, and unconditional versus situational love. Molly invites the reader to take a front row seat to moments filled with vulnerability, betrayal, pain, lust, grief, ecstasy, and freedom. The book title is a nod to the way that muses are so often depicted as being all good or all evil, and throughout the book Molly shows us the complexities of the humans behind the devil and angel masks.
