Think Tank Photo Releases Photographer-Inspired Backpack Series: Rotation180°
Think Tank Photo, a company dedicated to developing innovative carrying solutions for photographers, is launching a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for the Rotation180° Backpack Series. Designed by photographers and for photographers, this backpack allows quick access to cameras without removing the pack.

Santa Rosa, CA – September 16, 2020 – Think Tank Photo, a group of product designers dedicated to developing innovative carrying solutions for photographers, announced this week the release of their latest product via the crowdfunding platform, Kickstarter: The Rotation180° Backpack Series.

Designed by photographers and for photographers, the Rotation180° backpack allows professionals and amateurs to have quick access to their cameras without removing the pack. It combines a rugged, durable backpack for gear and incidentals with a smaller camera bag that easily slides out, allowing photographers to easily reach their cameras and capture a shot in seconds.

“We are a group of photographers and adventure travelers,” said Ted Meister, Director of Marketing for Think Tank Photo, “and we understand how critical it is to get ‘The Shot.’ With the Rotation180° backpack, you simply rotate the integrated belt pack to the front of your body and your camera is at your fingertips. Snap the shot, slide the belt pack out of the way, and keep going!”

Determined to prioritize rugged durability and ease of access, Think Tank Photo has released a series of innovative carrying products over the past fifteen years to help photographers transport their gear safely and comfortably and to improve their workflow. Their mission is to create products that enable photographers to document the moments that reflect their personal visions and artistic talents.

“We were born to build solutions for professional photographers,” said Doug Murdoch, CEO and Lead Product Designer. “Our products are built to withstand the rigors of everyday use by hard-working professional photographers who push their gear to the limit every day. It’s more than just making great-looking camera bags; we make professional tools.”

Rotation180° backpacks are available in three sizes: 22 liters, 34 liters, and 50+ liters. Built with a high-density, water-repellant nylon, the backpacks feature a 10-point adjustable harness system, a hydration reservoir, and numerous attachment points for additional external capacity.
